Rent the Runway strikes again!

It's baaaaaaack! Rent the Runway has a whopping 50% off EVERTHING in their warehouse store this weekend only! While most shoppers were hitting their local H&M's for Balmanation, I headed to Secaucus, NJ. I got a vague email this week that RTR was having a sale but when I got to their front door and saw the 50% off sign I think I may have screamed a little. Last time they had a sale it was only 40% off. It's like going to the NYC sample sale on the last day - but with a better selection and a parking lot. It's a Jersey girl's dream.

There's a lot of the stuff you've seen at previous sales but they have plenty of new stock too. I was there for a good three hours this morning and it got wiped, but they said they should be restocking at some point so be sure to pop in this weekend for some killer deals.

Here are some of my sale favorites. Let's start with accessories...

Barbara Bui, retail $1655, now $172.50

Elizabeth and James, retail $545, now $57.50.

Elizabeth and James, retail $645, now $68.

Kate Spade, retail $328, now $44.50.

Kate Spade, retail $398, now $41.50.

Inge Christopher, retail $188, now $29.50 - they had black and white.

Ben-Amun, retail $320, now $35.50.

CC Skye, retail $185, now $31.50.

Eddie Borgo, retail $190, now $29.50.

Erickson Beamon, retail $393, now $39.50.

House of Harlow 1960, retail $145, now $26.

Kenneth Jay Lane, retail $180, now $30.50.

Lulu Frost, retail $225, now $32.50.

Oscar de la Renta, retail  $245, now $35.

Kendra Scott, retail $60, now $12 (Just got these at the Rack!)

Anton Heunis, retail $290, now $37.50.

House of Harlow 1960, retail $85, now $17. (This is one of my favorite cuffs - picked it up at a previous sale and I would have grabbed another but they were all cracked too.)

Girls were scooping up armfuls of dresses and heading to the dressing room. There was a five item limit but they held your other pieces so you were able to try everything on in one trip. The line was long so some clever girls who were slightly less modest stripped down across the room. I joined in but in my defense, I came prepared with a slip.

I fell in love with this Catherine Deane dress but they didn't have my size. Retail $950, now $74.50!

This Yumi Kim romper retailed for $229, now just $15.50!!!!

Badgley Mischka, retail $770, now $44.50. Note the red tape marking any damage.

Alberta Ferretti, retail $2,200, now $246.50.

Back of dress.

 Milly, retail $350, now $35.

 Sachin & Babi, retail $420, now $30.

Marchesa Notte, retail $795, now $62.50.

Herve Leger, retail $1350, now  $78.50!!!

Herve Leger, retail $1350, now  $78.50! This one already went to one of my followers who asked me to find her a HL.

Sachin & Babi, retail $952, now $106.50.

Helmut Lang, retail $1390, now $109. Last time they has a XS, now they have a L.

nha khanh, retail $1240, now $83. This one was pretty shredded up so I would inquire about an additional discount.

Elizabeth and James, retail  $495, now $49.50.

Moschino for Rent the Runway, retail $1495, now $165. Missing a bunch of pearls.

Blumarine, retail $3,400, now $267.

BCBG Max Azria, retail $578, now $45.50.

nha khanh, retail $1240, now $83.

nha khanh, retail $1595, now $102.

And now for what I got. I was trying to behave so I edited down to just three pieces. I do reserve the right to go back for more LOL.

Clover Canyon Rose Matador dress, retail $305 - now $24.

Anna Sui metallic sheath, retail $480 - now $32.

Katherine Kwei clutch, retail $505 - now  $40.50.

I took a bunch of pictures of the room - see if you can spot dresses you've rented from them. Many a girl hunted down pieces they had previously rented because they were so darn cheap. They had sizes 0-22, but a smaller selection in sizes over 12.

They also had their $10 rack again but nothing too exciting this time.

The good news is that if you can't make it, you can email them to check availability and they can ship to you for $9.95 (UPS Ground) for most items but it may be more for a heavier package. I do recommend going if you can as most pieces show varying degrees of wear, so you really want to see what you're getting. Now get in your car (or Uber) and start driving now!

    1. They had a ton of jewelry so you should be OK - people were focusing on dresses anyway. By Saturday I'm sure they will restock. LMK what you find!

    1. Thank you! Unlike most of my sales this one you can shop too. Just go to the RTR website (and looks around) then email the warehouse and ask if they have any dress in your size in stock - if they do they will ship it to you for about $10. Just be sure to ask about imperfections as everything has been worn.

  9. That Milly skirt! I love it. And I've always had a soft spot for that House of Harlow black necklace. Your shopping trips are my obsession.
