The Cutest Emoji Dress Ever!

It was love at first sight when I saw this Emoji dress on Shein.com. I can't tell you how many people have stopped me to ask where I got it. In full disclosure I got the size large because I wanted an oversized fit. The patches are sewn on a little sloppy but even so, the emojis totally make the dress. Even better, it's just $21.99 and they often have couple codes on their website for free shipping and an additional percentage off.

I wore this outfit to the Rebecca Minkoff sample sale last week. I like comfortable clothing (ergo the cute sneakers) and minimal accessories when I shop. The weather was pretty cold last week so I had to pull out a winter coat and gloves but I refuse to wear tights just yet.

From head to toe:
So this whole look was about $50 OOP. Pretty good considering the retail value is well over $1,700!

A huge thank you to my 9 year old mini fashionista Ella who took my pics for this look. So proud of my super talented kids! Check out her new Instagram account, @missellasophie. She's excited every time someone follows, likes or comments, so please show her some love!

I LOVE my new Jord wood watch! I love how organic they look - and they have so many color woods and faces. Jord sells both men's and women's watches (several are unisex) but I choose the Frankie in Navy and Zebrawood which retails for $189. I personally love a chunky menswear style watch on my tiny wrist.

Your watch comes in this amazing wood box and would make a great gift! Right now you can enter to win $75 off your watch - and you get a $20 code just for entering! Good luck!

Luxury Wood Watch

I got another really amazing box from Influenster - this Vox Box was choc full of Armani Beauty products! They sent me the Eccentrico mascara (RV $32) and three eye tints (RV $39 each)! I've said it before but I highly recommend signing up for Influenster! In short, they send you free products to review on your social media channels. It took me a while to get the good boxes, but when they are good they are oh so good! Sign up here.

Target just released their November beauty box for just $10! The Loreal primer and Revlon eyeliner alone more than pay for the box! Hurry because they always sell out fast!

Last but not least, Popsugar sent me their October #MustHaveBox to try and once again it did not disappoint! Their boxes are just $39.95 (with a $200+ RV!) and you can take $5 off your first box with coupon code SHOP5. I think I'm most excited by the MakeUp Eraser (removes makeup just by rubbing!) and can totally use a new Henri Bendel umbrella and Revlon Colorstay liquid eyeliner.

On the sample sale front, I did so well at Rebecca Minkoff (I went 2x LOL) and I'll be sure to share my finds shortly! This week in sample sales we have Marc Jacobs starting Wednesday and I may check out MIISTA - a London based shoe brand because I want some chunky booties or creepers.

Justice Style with My Little Brand Ambassador :)

Hey guys! Sorry I've been MIA but things have been crazy with all the Jewish holidays. I shot these pics with Ella a few weeks ago with our new Justice swag and wanted to share. In case you missed it, Ella is now a #girlswithheart brand ambassador for Justice. They sent a huge box of goodies as well as a new phone and a $100 gift card. She put together this look and paired it with a pair of Sketchers that I scored for a penny at Nordstrom Rack.

My little bargainista scored the red plaid top (last seen here) and jeans for $20 each and the top was free with purchase. She's been living in that plaid shirt - it's so versatile! She found the fringed purse on the sale rack for $3.50. I have a feeling that gift card is gonna last us a while LOL.

Until now she only ever had any Justice pieces from the thrift store. They actually fit her tiny frame perfectly. She's 9.5 years old but wearing a size 7. It's been a while since she had a pair of jeans fit this well.

I'm linking up her look should you want to shop her style. I totally dressed like this in high school (well with jeanskirts instead of jeans) so it cracks me up to see her like this. On second thought, she's way cooler than I ever was.

Ella had her first Justice personal appearance as a Girls With Heart ambassador for their Super Saturday Halloween event. It was pretty last minute - going forward I'll give you a heads up for the next event so you can come meet us. She handed out positivity cards to other shoppers and they had a cute selfie booth set up. My super cute niece Betty came along and did backflips all over the store LOL. Ella now has her own Instagram @missellasophie - check it out to see a few more pics and videos of the event.

Ava is completely obsessed with Baby Alive right now and had to bring one along. She's been begging me to start a YouTube channel for her dolls...we'll see...

Thank goodness the Jewish holidays are almost over. Unfortunately they do not end before the Rebecca Minkoff and Oscar de la Renta sample sales begin this Monday and Tuesday respectively! Ugh. The holiday of Succot finally ends Tuesday night so I'll be shopping bright and early Wednesday morning. I'll be missing both previews which totally kills me. Last sale Oscar had sample shoes that blew out for $75 at VIP and Minkoff always has the best stuff first day. Luckily I'll be there to shop markdowns.

And on the last day I wore Prada.

After playing chicken my first two days of New York Fashion Week I decided to wear at least one outfit that felt like me. And in true bargainista fashion, I put it together for less than $100 head to toe.

When you put on weight it's easy to feel like you need to cover up. The trick is to show a little skin and show your shape. I started with a bodycon dress and took a page out of the Kim K playbook and covered with a sheer oversized coat. I really like to be comfortable in my heels so I put aside my stupid shoes and pulled out my favorite Tamara Mellon Bad Girls. I could seriously run a marathon in these. And let's talk Prada for a moment. My mom recently moved out of the country for a simpler life and left her designer bags in my care. Thanks Ma!

From head to toe:
  • Sunglasses: Jimmy Choo, Nordstrom Rack, $10 (RV $325)
  • Dress: H&M, $3 (I think it retailed for $49.95)
  • Coat: LAMB, Nordstrom Rack, $0.01 (RV $350)
  • Bracelets: AV Max leather cuffs, sample sale, $10 each (RV $70 & $80)
  • Bag: Prada, borrowed from my Mom (RV $2,390)
  • Shoes: Tamara Mellon Bad Girls, sample sale, $50 (RV $750)
So I spent a little over $80 on this $4,000 outfit. It's probably a record for me LOL.

You can shop my look below:

My pics were taken by Belle, Little Fashion Stylist who I'd met the previous week at the StyleWatch party. Thanks girl! We met up for the Miguel Vieira show by Pier 59. I had a seat so I went in and saved us both front row seats. Most shows I'm not lucky enough to sit with a friend so this was a treat.

The show included both men's and women's designs and lots of graphic black and white patterns. And lots of pretty boys :)

I shot Belle on the way out. How cute is she??!! She's wearing her prom dress with a H&M top underneath that she had picked up that day. So clever.

Afterwards we decided to hit a sample sale and then to the Lane Bryant store to meet Christian Siriano who was having a party for his latest plus size collab. I ended up skipping out in another show because like I said, Fashion Week is way more fun with a friend.

I had a few shots with Christian (who I'd previously met at Couture for a Cause last year) but my vanity prohibits me sharing them LOL.

In the end I had a great Fashion Week. It was short and sweet but I'm hoping to be bolder and to take NY by storm next round. I'm excited to share that I have a few new collaborations in the works and it's looking like an exciting fall.

Who else is excited for fall! I can't wait to take out all the coats I've collected this past summer!
