White Lace & Gold Studs

Last weekend we had a friend's daughter's Bat Mitzvah party so I decided to take my Rockstuds out for a spin - plus they perfectly pair with my new Jimmy Choo sample sale score. Say hello to my Charlize python envelope clutch. It was selling at the sale for $550 but on the last day, in the last hour I negotiated it down to $100 because it's missing a cube. Score! I dug out this cute white lace dress that I picked up at the Rack for 5 bucks a while back, swiped on my MAC Toxic Tale lipstick, threw on a few fun accessories (all sample sale scores!) and I was out the door.

My look from head to toe:

• Earrings: Lionette, sample sale, $20
• Dress: Donna Morgan, Nordstrom Rack, $5
• Bracelets: A.V. Max, sample sale, $10 each (retail $70 & $80)
• Rings: all Lionette, sample sale, $20 each
• Clutch: Jimmy Choo Charlize Python envelope clutch, sample sale, $100 (can't find retail - similar is $1,500+)
• Shoes: Valentino Rockstuds, Nordstrom Rack, $249 (retail $1,045)

I love my Lionette earrings. I have a problem with most non gold earrings (these are plated) because they irritate my super-sensitive ears. These are so comfortable - so much so, that I forgot I was wearing them...and lost one. Luckily the stud part turned up but I'm guessing one of the kids found the cute dolphin back and took it home :( I guess I'll be wearing them as a mismatch for now on...
