This time the sale was at their showroom and prices varied slightly from their sales at 260 Sample Sale. You can read some of my past reports, here and here. Knit tops were $30, blouses were $40, dresses, sweaters, pants, shorts and skirts were $50, black tie pieces were $100, outerwear was $120 and leather was $150. Shoes were not on the price list - and just $20 for Rebecca Taylor shoes and $40 for the few Loeffler Randalls in the mix. They also had a small display of jewelry for $10-20.
Sizing at the sale was mostly size 2 and 6, but they did have a few smaller and larger pieces mixed in. I went straight to the dresses and grabbed everything that could work. Unfortunately I didn't see any of the ones I really wanted but I still managed to find some pretties. You're gonna have to wait to see my awesome haul because I'm so behind on sharing a few looks I shot, as well as my Jimmy Choo sample sale scores.
They had a damage bin with pieces for 10 bucks a piece. I was a little annoyed because they told me it was $5 when I first got there but it wasn't worth arguing. By the time I left the space they must have pulled the bin so I'm using a pic I posted on Instagram. Most pieces has a small tear, stain or broken zipper - so I took what I could work with.
I should mention that I took my smaller camera (didn't want to drag my DSLR today) so pics aren't as crisp and I didn't shoot until noon - when most of the floor was cleared already LOL. Sale is on thru tomorrow and I'd check in for discounts :)
I'm linking up some of the pieces I saw this morning:
Didn't bother with Rebecca Minkoff again because I'm waiting for deep discounts, although I heard they started to lightly discount some categories today.
Last but not least a shout out to Mushkie who shared this sale on Instagram. Check out her new blog, Holy in Mundane. You may know her from her sample sale reports that she's written for Sample Sally. Thank you - because it wasn't on Racked and I may have missed it if not for you. This is why you have to check all the sample sale sites daily!

Sigh. It's just as well. Nothing would fit me any way. :-/
ReplyDeleteAw they had a few things in your size but it wouldn't have been worth a ticket to NY. Too bad your meeting got canceled...
DeleteI am SO JEALOUS!!! Rebecca Taylor is my favorite designer. If only the sale was in LA, I'd be there in a heartbeat. Glad you got some pretty things :)

DeleteHow much was the Avery crossbody bags at the sample sale? Is it more expensive online? :(
ReplyDeleteAre you talking about RM? Prices were based on retail - so it was probably $100 - so about the same.
