Target 70-90% off Holiday Clearance Finds!

It's been a while since I've gone Target hunting, mostly because I usually end up coming home with piles of stuff I don't really need LOL. But it's hard to resist the siren call of 90% so I popped in today to a couple stores to see what I could find.

The trick to finding clearance late in the game (some stores hit 90% off on Monday) is to check the endcaps, dig thru wagons pilled up with returns and to look on the regular shelves  - so many of my best finds are often hiding in plain sight.

I tried to be selective so I left plenty behind - this is what came home with me...

Two out of three kids start their name with an A so I figured for $.49 why not?

I was looking for the 90% off EOS lip balms but instead I found a 70% off gift set for $2.39.

At $2.99, it's almost cheaper than buying shaving cream LOL.

Man stuff for DH - 70% off for $2.99!

I almost didn't get this penguin cup but it made my daughter's day because it lights up! 90% off for $.59! Now my other girl is jealous LOL.

I left the boy sets behind but I grabbed a couple of these 70% off princess bath sets for my girls. Just $2.99!

And last but not least, Tracy's Notebook of Style shared this find a little while back for 50% off - but I scored it for 90% off!!! For $1.09 my girls are thrilled!

Kleenex tissues for $.39 for three boxes? Yes, please!

May head back tomorrow to take another look but I suspect the best of it is gone by now. If you're lucky you never know what your Target may drag out of the back so it can't hurt to keep looking!

I'm proud to share that Racked NY picked up my Rent the Runway story - you can read it here!

It's also not to late to enter my iMac + Kate Spade Handbag - check out my Favorite Finds of 2015 post - it's at the bottom. You should also check out my Flipogram on Insta of some of my best fashion and deals set to music :)

Would love to hear what you found if you hit Target!

This week in shopping - TJ Maxx & Marshalls yellow sticker markdowns, $1 H&M bras, C21 & Target finds and more...

This week was chock full of bits and pieces. I have lots of family in from out of town this summer (I don't have as much free time) so you'll have to deal with my super long blog posts. Grab a coffee and let's get started.

After a few misses, Rocksbox sent me a bunch of cute pieces. I know I've explained it a few times but I still have people asking me what it is. In short, it's like Netflix for jewelry. You create a wishlist and they send you three pieces at a time to borrow or buy. It comes with a prepaid label and a reusable bag that you can drop in the mailbox to trade for a new set when you're ready. They charge $19 a month for this service - but with code SHOPPINGGALXOXO you can get your first month free! It's easy to cancel so there is no long term commitment. It's a great way to try before you buy and see what styles work for you.

Details: Bracelet is Loren Hope (love!), earrings are Ashiana London and necklace is Robyn Rhodes.

This past Monday I kicked off the week by hitting the Jersey Shore. Little did I know that I should have been making my rounds to all the local TJs and Marshalls. Yellow sticker markdowns are now if full effect. I had a feeling it was coming but for some reason I thought it would be Thursday. Missing that first day meant missing out on all the high-end designer pieces and super cheap odds and ends. Despite my disadvantage, I still managed to find a few goodies.

I planned on taking some pics at the beach to show you my new $3 H&M dress that I paired with my recently repaired Cavalli sunglasses (last year C21, $15-ish) and $20 LK Bennett Summer sample sale shoes, but when you go with 8 kids...things don't always go as planned.

Bright and early the next morning I began my yellow sticker hunt. I started at my favorite TJ Maxx Runway location and it was already picked over. Oh well.

I did spot this cute Young, Broke and Fabulous romper that probably retailed for $150, and was marked down to $15 (was $50) but shorts aren't for me right now.

After a couple more trips I collected a few random pieces.

This Margot leather bucket bag was marked down to $20 and they actually go really well with my new $29 House of Harlow Esperanza shoes. They are super comfortable and have that ugly/cool look. I'm gonna play with them and see if I can make them work.

A lady should always have a pretty pen so I splurged on these Sheaffer and Cross pens for $3 & $5 each.

My youngest daughter has been begging me for a new perfume so I grabbed this Demeter Cherry Blossom for $5.

I usually stock up on hair supplies at this sale to supplement my free stuff from hair modeling. I usually look for fancy dry shampoo but all I found was hairspray. After I finish reading reviews on these I'll probably take a couple back.

And sadly that's all. I'll get 'em good next round. On the other hand, I randomly popped into H&M and really hit the jackpot this time. $1 bras and swimtops? Yes, please!

The $3 sale was still going on so I picked up this white denim jacket :)

I've been doing a lot of Target runs with my SIL who is in from out of the country so I've been spending more time than usual in the women's department. Spied this super cute Free People-ish Mossimo dress for just $22.99. They have it online only in plus size right now AND it's also buy 1 get 1 50% off.

I've also spotted some Lilly Pullitzer pieces at 50% off still hanging around. Take a peek at your local stores to see what pops up :)

Heard these muli-packs of girls panties were super cheap but I only found one set. They rang up item not found so the cashier gave them to me for $1.50. Score!

Some of my favorite Gilligan & O‘Malley thongs were marked down to $2.50 (usually $5 each) but I just noticed that they sell them online for 7 for $20!!! Stock up in black and nude, ladies! These stay in place and are invisible - I forget I'm even wearing them they are so good.

*************

I've been stalking Century and they are still holding strong at 65% off. I did notice that they are having a Fall designer trunk show in Paramus, NJ from August 19-22. They always have some beautiful high end pieces to look at but prices still tend to be a little high for me.

While looking thru clearance kids shoes I found these adorable Little Marc Jacobs mouse booties for $39.99. So stinking cute!

And you know I never shop for non-sale items but when I saw my SIL trying on these Report Signature fringed flats I had to have them. They look very expensive are just $40! Best part is they are available on c21stores.com in black and brown in sizes 6-10. The brown is a little light for my taste but the black is amazing. Don't worry, you'll be seeing some mod shots pretty soon :)

Last but not least I went to Nordstrom to buy this MAC eye liner pot that was used on my super sensitive eyes (without a problem) the last time I hair modeled. I never did a black liner before (I usually prefer color) but they made my hazel eyes pop. The color is Blacktrack and it was just $16.50.  I'll be doing lots of black cat eyes this Fall :)

That's all for now! FYI, still have lots of available goodies left in my blog sale. Have a great weekend and happy shopping!

Fashion under $100 a day. Designer deals, Target & thrifted finds :)

To say $1 a day is unrealistic and even if I pieced together all my penny finds I don't think I could come up with a complete look (I'll try another time). Today I challenged myself to put on an outfit under $100 (it's been a while) so I decided to start with one of my $5 H&M clearance deals from the the other day.

  • Sunglasses: Jimmy Choo, Nordstrom Rack $10
  • Necklace: Nordstrom Rack, $6
  • Dress: H&M $5 (was $49.95)
  • Bracelet: AV Max NY, sample sale $10
  • Earrings: Nordstrom Rack, $.01
  • Bag: Rebecca Minkoff, sample sale $50
  • Sandals, Thrift store, $15

Pretty good, huh?

I've been doing a lot of thrifting recently but I keep walking out empty handed. Yesterday I went to three different thrift stores and all I got was a few cute pieces for my girls.

  • NWT Gap Kids skirt, $11.25
  • Ooh! La La! Couture dress $3.75
  • Magpie & Mabel skirt $4.50

Normally I wouldn't spend more than $5 on my kids but I already thrifted the same skirt for my younger daughter and I wanted them to match. Plus my older daughter kept stealing it...

I also had a decent Target week - I saw on my Target groups that electronics had some markdowns so I did a little Target hunting. My best deals included these Skullcandy earbuds for $2.98, Skullcandy Hesh 2 headphones (were $59.98!) for $17.98, Up by Jawbone fitness tracker (was $129.99!) for $38.98 and a couple Lexar SDHC cards for just $2.98 each. I've wanted a fitness tracker for a while but I've never heard of this company before. Anyone have one?

I also took a quick shot of these super cute Sophee Kendra Scott earrings from Rocksbox. I paired it with my $15 House of Harlow sunglasses that I got at 75% off from Centruy 21. (I actually found a second pair at the Rack for a penny LOL).

If you haven't tried Rocksbox, it's a fun jewelry subscription box - you create a wishlist and they send you three pieces at a time. You try them and buy them (for 20% off retail) or just send them back with a pre-paid shipping label and they send you three more pieces to borrow :) If you use code SHOPPINGGALXOXO you get your first month free!

I had hoped to get my blog sale up today but that's not gonna happen (too much stuff!) Don't worry, it's coming and it's gonna be good...

Have a great weekend!
