Thrift Haul, Rack Finds and my Birthday Giveaway!

In the Summer I like to shop a little less, eBay a little more, take it easy and spend more time with the kids. I still get FOMO (fear of missing out) every time I see another deal that I skip but I accept that you can't do it all.

I've been striking out left and right at the thrift store lately but I FINALLY found a bunch of good stuff! My favorite this round is this $695 Smythe blazer with red leather patches. I've been eyeing similar blazers at the Rack but was too cheap to spend $200+...did I mention this one was $6?! Love when they don't know a brand :)

I also found this vintage 80's Neil Bieff sequined jacket for $15. I could tell it was something special from the construction (lined in silk, hand finishing etc.) and I was right. Googled it and similar pieces are $500-1000. Other than 5 missing sequins this baby is perfect.

Somehow this Dolce & Gabanna dress made it to 75% off so I took it home for less than $9. The label may be half out but I still knew what it was :) I love a good vest so this menswear inspired dress is just up my alley.

There was something about this 80's red leather belt. Maybe it was the Balenciaga-like studs. Reminds me of something Jem and the Holograms would have worn. And it was $4.

And you know I always pick up stuff for the kids - Ava isn't in camp so she tags along on most of my shopping adventures right now. She picked out this Little Mass tutu dress for $5. These dresses retail for about $80. It went right in the wash because she NEEDED to wear it the next day.

I'm always on the hunt for American Girl stuff so we were thrilled to pick up Molly's retired bed for $4. One of the legs is broken so I taped it in place - otherwise it looks perfect!

I also picked up an Oilily denim skirt for Ella for $3!

The Rack has been pretty dead too. If things don't start picking up, I'm not sure I'm going to make to level 4 again.

They had shoe markdowns this week but I didn't see anything. My friend scored a pair of Burberry booties for a penny. My store had gotten pretty good at pulling penny items but that didn't stop me from finding these sparkly mary janes for Ava :)

I found this ruffley The Kooples dress for just $32.99 - most of their dresses retail for $300+

And I also scored this super cute studded cuff for $15. Paired it with a $2 thrifted bracelet and I'm good to go!

I've been watching the Century 21 sales and not much has progressed. Don't worry, it's coming! Meanwhile I had $80 is points expiring so I grabbed a pair of Crocs for my daughter and couldn't decide what to do with the rest of the money. After looking over the sunglasses for hours, I finally selected these Moschinos. I wanted to buy something iconic and amazing (because I have so many cheap & penny sunnies) but they really didn't have what I was looking for. I figured I can't go wrong with a black cat eye.

Speaking of Century sunglasses, for 4th of July I shared (on Insta) these red Valentino rockstud sunglasses I got last sale for $15 at 75% off. Check out her cute mani with red, white and blue sparkle nail polish that I got from a Julep deal last year.

It's my birthday on Saturday so I popped into Sephora for my birthday freebie. This year they are giving out a couple Nars lips pencils. I also grabbed this Bumble & Bumble Hairdresser's Invisible Oil as a 100 point freebie. I still have over 500 points banked so I'm hoping they get a good 500 point set in soon.

Stay tuned for my birthday giveaway! I finally pulled out a Rebecca Minkoff that I purchased a couple sample sales ago for a giveaway and I have another sample sale score and penny item that I'll be throwing in. I'll give you a little sneak peek...

XOXO
