The trick is to look all around the store, mixed in with regular items. Don't get me wrong, your first stop should be the Halloween isle, but then start looking around for hidden finds :)
I'm trying not to overbuy as I have in the past and as much as it hurts, I do leave some things behind LOL.
Here are my 70% off candy/snacks finds:
The big bags and Z-bars were just $2-3! Everything else was less than $1.
And here's the rest of my 90% off stash :)
I always look for household stuff on the cheap. The employees tend to grab up most of the paper goods in my stores. I found these on the regular shelves - mixed in. Also be sure to check out the returns carts hanging out in the isles with stuff that has to go back to the correct departments. Lots of goodies hiding in them too!
I had a feeling my DD would love Monster High costume but even at $2 I'm beginning to think it looks a little teenage hooker for my taste. The glow packets were all $.30 each and are great for kids goodie bags.
I've picked up cake pop materials at previous 90% off sales so for $.99 I figured a stand would be a good investment :)
My son is a big Lego Movie fan so I figured he'd get a kick out of the Emmet shirt. My yongest loves the ponies so I got her this XL T-shirt for $.99 - I cut the sleeves down so she could wear it as a nightdress - she's currently wearing the cut-off arms as legwarmers LOL.
Some girly odds and ends - all for pennies :)
How cute are these dresses for $1.29 each?
This is what I mean by hidden clearance. In the beauty department I found a whole display that rang up 90% off! I pretty much cleared it out LOL. $.19 nail polish and $.79 beauty kits? Yes, please!
If you haven't already hit your local Targets today I suggest you do so NOW! Happy hunting :)
