H&M's $4 4th of July deals (and more!)

Summer sales are in full effect! Got an email this morning that Saks is having their designer consolidation sale in Texas and Beverly Hills (online too!) but I'm trying to shop on the cheap. At the Saks outlet they still have pink dot deals for $19.99 but I have not seen anything new added. I scoured my outlet mall and my most exciting find was that the H&M sale just kicked it up a notch.

H&M brought back their $4 4th of July promotion! Spotted tons of $4 tops & dresses in the women's department.

They also had their $5.99 basics on sale - 4 for $10! $2.50 tanks and tees? Yes, please!

Don't forget to check the accessories - found lots of pieces for one dollar or less!

Cute tote for $7...

 Lots of $4-5 swim pieces!

Kids department was chock full of $1-10 pieces. I grabbed these $4 seahorse dresses for my girls. I can't seem to resist cheap matching dresses. I checked the men's department but all I saw for $4 were some ugly T's and tanks.

On Instagram I've been posting Century 21 updates. They now have signs for 1/3-1/2 off throughout the store!

I got excited until I remembered how much their stuff costs before 90% off LOL. I fell in love with these Antonio Berardi dresses but even at 50% off they were $249.50 & $374.25. Normally I wait until 75% off to even look so I don't get attached to anything but I have some rewards expiring this week. I still have $60+ left to spend but it's so hard for me to "waste" money on things that I know are about to get marked down further. Ugh.

I checked in at my favorite TJ Maxx hoping for markdowns but didn't see any (yet). I have a feeling yellow stickers are coming soon :) I did see several super cute beach totes for just $7.99.

And finally, last week Target had buy one get one 50% off sandals online so I grabbed these gladiators that I had seen on Instagram. Reviews were all positive so I figured for around $22 a pair after discounts it would be worth a shot. I got them in 9 and 9.5 and I returned the smaller sandals. They seem pretty comfortable but I hate that they are plastic. I suspect they are going to fall apart so it hurts to pay over $20 for non-leather shoes when I know what I can find for a penny :)

Target has them for 20% off this week ($23.99). Last week was essentially 25% off but you had to buy two pairs. I recommend having them shipped to you because one pair that I ordered online and picked up locally came damaged (I had to place a second order for these) so just have them ship you a brand new pair.

Exciting things are happening! What have you guys been picking up lately?

Shopping madness at the outlets! Nordstrom Rack, Saks & Bloomies weekend deals :)

With sundown coming and a Jewish Holiday this weekend I'll be out of commission so I'll have to do this post quickly. (Don't worry, I made up for it by doing some power shopping this morning.)

Waiting for the doors to open...

Stop #1 for me is always Nordstrom Rack. Clear the Rack started this morning and runs thru Monday. They are offering an extra 25% off red ticket clearance. You can also get a price adjustment for the extra 25% off items purchased within the past 7 days with the receipt and tags attached. Unfortunately there was nothing to buy (not has their been so I had nothing to adjust) so I headed over to SaksOff5th to see what I could find.

I dug around a little more and found 9 more dresses and gowns - for a total of $134.91. Saved $4,350 - that's 97% off!

My fave $14.99 find of the day was this $495 lace dress. I'm partial to Badgley Mischka because I scored my $10,000+ beaded wedding gown from their sample sale for next to nothing :)

Even though I never find anything at the Blooingdale's outlet I decided to take a peek and look what I found...

Every ladies red tagged item was just $19.99! I scooped up tons of Alice & Olivia, Vince, Joie, Rebecca Taylor, and more! Looks like I may be having a blog sale after all. After putting my first haul in the car I went back and filled another bag LOL. In my first transaction I saved over $7000!

This promotion started this morning and runs thru Monday. I'm not sure if this promo is at every location (the cashier didn't know) so your local stores first.

Good luck and happy shopping!!!

Saks 5th Avenue clothing for thrift store prices! RUN to Off5th NOW!

I happened to notice something about pink dots at Saks off 5th at one of my online groups and I decided to finally check it out. I can't believe nobody clued me in about this deal earlier because the sales people told me it's been going on for weeks. The promotion started at $19.99 for all pink dot clearance but just dropped to $14.99. I probably would have been thrilled at the higher pricepoint (and better selection) but I did pretty well considering.

At this point you should be getting into your car and hightailing it over to your local Saks outlet. You can read the rest of my post once your're enroute...

This promotion is clothing only (no shoes) but they did have a few pieces of costume jewelry for $10 in the accessories department. I made a beeline to the dresses and got started there.

When digging thru the racks (check all sale racks as pink dots are mixed in) I found a $2000+ blue Pucci dress and almost had a heart attack. It needed some repair (half the seams were open and the zipper was broken) but for $15 it was a no-brainer. Unfortunately at the register it did not scan for the promotional price because some very evil person with a sick sense of humor stuck a pink dot where it didn't belong. The manager wouldn't honor the pink sticker because it was too expensive of a dress. That dress was wrecked. I'm sorry but even at half off nobody was gonna buy that dress in that condition. That's usually my problem with the Saks outlet (and why I don't shop there regularly) - they price things based on labels without any consideration for the crappy condition of most of their clearance items. Remember the Louboutin purse that I posted a while back that looked like a dog chewed on it -  that they priced at over $1000? When they have sales like this I don't mind buying damaged goods but otherwise they should not be selling torn dresses for $250. Boo.

$10 Jewelry

Lots of ladies stuff!

This graphic sweater caught my eye. Cute but NMS.

$15 Paige jeans!

$15 Seven for Mankind coated denim :)

Much less of a selection in the men's department. Totally forgot to check kids :(

All the other clearance clothing was 50% off. I saw this Vince leather dress that I just got for a penny and laughed at their $671.99 (less 50%) price. Ha!

I already dropped a few pieces off at my seamstress but here are a few of my favorites that came home with me -

This $1265 Carven tribal Jacquard one shoulder dress (in perfect condition!) has been seen on the Queen Bee's lil sister Solange - and now you'll be seeing it on me :)

This Charlotte Ronson silk dress was re-tagged so I don't know the original retail. Shows a little wear but for $15 I'll deal. It's super short but makes me look skinny (always a win). I figure as long as I don't bend over I'm good.

Most of the clearance items were from Saks private label lines but a few pieces were worth it. This knit sweater dress was so cute - I got a S for me and an XS for my nieces.

Vera Wang, baby! I know I need another black dress like a hole in the head but the details were sweet...and again, $15. Enough said.

Another Saks label knit dress. Very Missoni and I love the longer length. I wish they had a XS because some of the knit pieces were pretty stretched out from literally hanging around for so long.

I actually found two DVF dresses but the other is already with my tailor. The size is missing (as is the belt) on this $425 Malena dress, but the paper tag says 0. I can get it on so I'm guessing it's more like a 2. Saving for 10 lbs from now.

This LaVia18 sweater dress doesn't do much for me (and is badly stretched at the shoulders) but I couldn't leave a $448 dress behind. I'm gonna play with it (maybe belt it?) and see if it's worth keeping.

Last but not least is this $200 tiered Adrianna Papell dress. I love the color but not sure what I would do with it.

I thought it was funny when I spotted this table of Phillip Lim and Chloe bags - as they both had sample sales this week. Prices were pretty decent compared to the sales.

At the sale these blue pouches were $100 vs $114.99 at Saks - not bad...

I only saw the CASH pouches at the sale but if they had this bag version it would have been $200. Saks price was $234.99.

I saw this bag in Snakeskin at the sale for $200 but it was missing a scale in the front and it drove me nuts. Get the black and white version for $289.99 at Saks. Not great considering the one I saw had a higher retail due to the skin.

Chole bag for $966.99 - pretty similar to the sample sale too.

I also spotted a table of Prada (it's been a while) - nothing too exciting. I just figured you'd like to see pricing. The small makeup bags were $129.99 and prices topped out at $749.99 for the larger nylon totes.

If you haven't been to the Saks outlet in a while, now would be the time! H&M also has several weekend deals worth checking out. In addition to pretty full sales racks I spotted lots of pieces starting at $2.95 (not in my size of course...) and buy a bikini top and get a bottom free.

Have a great weekend and happy shopping!
